INFORMATION FOR MUSICIANS
Bringing your music to a wider audience through Kesson is easy, and as a not-for-profit collaborative, we cut the cost of distribution by a third.
How do the numbers work?

When someone buys your CD in the shop, this is where the money goes.
Kesson pays you for the recording (currently £4.00) plus the CD manufacture. For MP3 downloads, we take off the cost of the CD manufacture, and pass on the saving to the customer.
By keeping our overheads to a minimum, you get the maximum return for your music, and we don't charge a 'registration' fee!
All we need from you is a short artist biography and photograph, details
of the recordings, one copy on CD from which we will create the download
files, and a completed authorisation form which spells out the terms
of business and who we make payments to.
For CD distribution, we will also require a modest stock of each CD
title. When stocks are running low, we will ask you for a top-up, and
pay you for those that have been sold.
A better deal for Cornish
musicians!!
